I am so excited to be joining the Barron Bigcat family as the Barron librarian. I have been in education for 23 years and I have taught every grade from PreK through 5th grade. 

I grew up in Tennessee and I have lived in Texas for 25 years. I have two amazing kids. My oldest child, Kaden is a senior at UTD studying digital education and my youngest, Liam is a senior at Centennial High School in Frisco. My partner, Bill and I live in Frisco. We have 2 adorable cats and many ducks that visit our backyard. We enjoy animals, going for walks, and video gaming. 

I love to read. I am usually reading at least 3 books at any one time. I also enjoy crafting. Recently, I have taken up embroidering.  Another thing I enjoy is going to musicals. I am a huge theatre fan.
