I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I've had the privilege of inspiring young minds as an educator for 8 years. I specialize in teaching English to high school students, specifically grades 9 through 12. Five of those fulfilling years have been spent in Plano Independent School District (PISD). Working within PISD has allowed me to immerse myself in a community of passionate educators and a diverse student body. These experiences have enriched my teaching style and fueled my commitment to delivering a quality education.

When I'm not teaching, you can often find me lost in the pages of a good book, sitting on my patio, or on a yoga mat.Yoga is another significant part of my life; it helps me find balance, both physically and mentally. The mindfulness and tranquility I gain on the yoga mat provide me with the energy and focus to be the best parent, educator, and person I can be. I have two giant dogs and a beautiful son who make up my perfect little family.
