Hello.  This is my 22nd year teaching art and my 17th year as an art teacher in Plano ISD.  I am excited to be at Gulledge!  I have taught at seven other elementary campuses in Plano prior to coming to Gulledge, including Thomas, Mathews, Jackson, Mitchell, Brinker, Schell and Hunt.  I began in Plano ISD as the second art teacher at Thomas Elementary, and the district moves me around from campus to campus based on the enrollment numbers.  For this reason, I have had the unique opportunity of working with several different art teachers, as well as staff and students.  I love the adventure!  I learn something from everyone I work with. 

I come from a family of teachers.  My dad taught Counselor Education at UNT and my mom was an art teacher in Plano ISD.  I love animals, art, children's books, and helping my students discover what they are capable of and how amazing they are.
