Hi, my name is Alexa Coman! I grew up attending Plano schools and am SO happy to be back in PISD as an educator. This will be my second year teaching at Gulledge. I studied Child Development at the University of Arkansas and received my Masters in Education from Southern Methodist University. While attending graduate school, I taught preschool for two years at SMU.

I have a passion for learning and try my best to make learning fun for everyone. I absolutely love watching sports and cheering on my favorite teams: the Arkansas Razorbacks, SMU Mustangs, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, FC Dallas, USWNT, and of course the Dallas Cowboys. I enjoy playing soccer, biking around White Rock Lake, hanging out with friends, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with my family.
