As Plano ISD plans for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year on August 12, guidance from the State of Texas and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is pivotal in that planning. Following Governor Greg Abbott’s announcement last Thursday, the TEA is expected to release additional guidance for schools on Tuesday, June 23. On that same day, June 23 at 7:00 p.m., Plano ISD administrators will be presenting options for reopening school in the fall to the Plano ISD Board of Trustees at their regular school board meeting.
