Hello, I'm Ms. Posey I am thrilled to be a part of the Gulledge community! With a passion for education and a commitment to cultivating a love for learning, I strive to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged.

I graduated from  the University of Texas in 2017 with a degree in Applied Learning and Development, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills that have shaped my teaching philosophy. Throughout my 6 years of experience in PISD as an educator, I have had the opportunity to teach 4th and 5th grade all subjects, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by students at the upper elementary level. 

My teaching approach is centered around fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among my students. I constantly strive to create engaging and interactive lessons that address diverse learning styles.I firmly believe in the power of building strong relationships with my students and their families.

In addition to my role as a teacher, I am also passionate about my family (4 young nephews and a large extended family) pilates, reading, and cooking!

 I look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of my students!
