Originally from Washington, D.C, I am a Texas transplant! I have lived in Texas since the age of 11, and I am proud to call it home. I have two children, a daughter who is 22 and a son who is 28. My daughter will be finishing her undergraduate work at Texas A&M, Commerce this fall, Class of 2023! I am currently in my 17th year teaching at Thomas Elementary. I have taught several grades, but I have to say I have enjoyed working as a PACE teacher the most because I have the opportunity to work with all the elementary grade levels. That keeps me on my toes!
