1st  Grade Teacher

Hello! My name is Christine Leftwich. This is my 21st year of teaching at Thomas Elementary, and I love it here! (I have taught first, second, third, and fourth grades.)  My oldest child, now a senior at Plano Senior High, attended Thomas from kindergarten through fifth grade. I love living near school, because I get to hear and see my former students and find out their successes after they leave Thomas! 

I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2003 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies.

I live in Plano with my two children, ages 16 and 6. We also have two cats and three dogs, who are all rescues. I also do some volunteer work with some local dog rescues. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, taking walks, and volunteer work. I also love playing board games!
