Advanced Academics/Gifted Specialist

Originally from the East Coast, I am a Texas transplant!  I have lived in Texas since the age of 11, and I am proud to call it home.  I have two children, a daughter who is 23 and a son who is 29.  My daughter is pursuing her Master’s degree at Texas A&M, Commerce this Fall and my son will be continuing his degree in Art at the University of North Texas. I have been teaching at Thomas Elementary since 2007, and have been an educator since 2005. I have taught several grades, but I have to say I have enjoyed working as a PACE teacher the most because I have the opportunity to work with students at all elementary grade levels. That keeps me on my toes!
