Elizabeth Nestman - Crayon Class

Hearing the everyday sounds of children learning and playing remind me how fortunate I am to be starting my sixth year teaching at Pearson. Before coming to Pearson, I had the opportunity to teach in a collaborative early childhood intervention program for the Walnut Creek, Moraga, and Orinda school districts in California for four years and in Little Elm, Texas, for three years.

Buffalo, New York was home when I was growing up. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to live in a number of states and Canada with my husband Chad and our 5 children. The final move for my husband and myself was to Plano, Texas, where our children and grandchildren have made their homes. In our spare time we enjoy remodeling our home, reading, and cheering on our grandchildren in school and sport events.

Your child will be part of the Crayon classroom family at Pearson. Expect their days to be filled with laughter, play, and the magic of discovery. During the preschool years a child grows physically, academically, and socially at an amazing rate. They want to know about the world around them - how it works and how it feels. By working together and communicating often we can foster a passion for learning and discovery in your young scholar.
