Hello, my name is Ms. Darien, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I believe that children learn best when they’re engaged, curious, and having fun! My teaching style is hands-on and play-based, with a focus on building strong relationships, nurturing social-emotional growth, and sparking a lifelong love of learning. I started teaching at Isaacs ECS in 2016, and each year brings new adventures and discoveries.

Born in Dallas and raised in Plano, I feel right at home at Isaacs and am proud to be working in an amazing school district with talented and dedicated teachers. After graduating from Plano Senior High School, I attended SMU where I majored in Political Science and International Studies.

I love spending time with my family, soaking up all the cuddles I can with my daughter, and trying new vegan foods. Traveling is my hidden passion and I take advantage of any opportunity I can to hop on a plane and explore a new city or country.
