Hello Families!

As we begin another year of learning and fun, I am so eager to build a relationship with each and every one of you. I absolutely love watching each child's story unfold as they find their unique voice.

My lifelong passion is early childhood education, especially the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which is built on the relationship between the child, the teacher, the parents and the community. I am a longtime member of NAEYC (The National Association for the Education of Young Children) and enjoy staying up to date on the research behind play-based learning. I am currently proud to be serving on the board of the Collin County Chapter of TXAEYC with the goal of supporting high-quality early childhood experiences here in Collin County. My biggest interests are children's picture books, block building, and understanding the development of schemas in children's play.

At home, I enjoy spending time with my own two young children. We love to travel, whether in North Texas or around the world! We are happy to call North Texas our home and always enjoy finding new places to get out and play.
