I feel so blessed to be part of the Pearson family.  I am passionate about empowering children to become lifelong learners. 

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and attended the University of Texas at El Paso… GO MINERS!  This is my fifteenth year working in education.  Before becoming a school counselor, I taught 8th grade Social Studies.  I started my counseling career at the high school and middle school level.  Working with adolescents taught me that all children need to feel valued, loved and accepted.  

Working in early childhood allows me to start teaching kindness and empathy early on. I enjoy helping kiddos build the social skills needed to establish meaningful relationships.   Working with children brings me such joy!  I have a passion for empowering others and look forward to serving your family here at Pearson.  

When at home, I enjoy spending time reading, cooking and going on long walks with my daughters, husband, and our two corgis.
