I grew up in Corpus Christi and moved to East Texas for college.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.  I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and I am licensed in the state of Texas. 

I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career, including private practice, private school, clinic, and now public school.  I love helping children grow in their communication skills.  My goal is to create a positive, encouraging learning environment and to help build a child’s confidence at school and home.  I am so happy to be working at Pearson.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing with my dogs Ollie and Wesley, going to musicals, doing crafty projects, and participating in church activities.
