Centennial Library
Welcome to the Centennial Library web page! As your librarian, my primary goal is to connect students with books they love and to nurture a lifelong passion for reading. Our library offers a wide range of fiction and non-fiction materials for borrowing. Students are encouraged to explore, read, and conduct research in a comfortable and welcoming environment. My hope is that every visit to the library inspires curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for learning! For more information about our library program, please take a look at the links/information provided at the bottom of this page.

About Your Librarian
Hello Centennial Comets!
My name is Ms. McKee, and I am thrilled to join this wonderful community as your new librarian! The library has always been my happy place, and I am excited to make it a happy place for you as well. For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of teaching middle school English, the last five of which have been in Plano ISD. Reading has always been an important part of my life, and I am particularly passionate about helping students discover books they love and encouraging them to explore new genres.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in Rockwall, Texas and am the oldest of 3 siblings! I am a proud Texas Tech Red Raider and UNT Eagle, and I enjoy cheering on our football and basketball teams. Outside of reading and teaching, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, enjoying a good cup of coffee, attending concerts, and crafting.
My Role:
My role as your school librarian is to foster a love of reading, support academic growth, and cultivate a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students can create, explore, learn, problem solve, and develop critical thinking skills that will follow them throughout their lives.
I’m honored to be your librarian and can’t wait to create wonderful memories together in the upcoming school year!
