Student Council
Fourth and Fifth grade students make up our student council at Barron. These students act as the leaders of our campus. They participate in meetings after school once a month and other various activities during the school day. Students work together to organize and manage campus events, to motivate students and staff, and to make Barron a better place. Some of our favorite events include the canned food drive and a performance at the Holiday Sing Along each year. Student council members and officers are elected for their position. They give a speech to their classmates, and then a vote is held to find the council members for the year. Student council members are expected to act as the leaders of the campus; therefor, they must maintain grades at an 80 or above in all subjects and E’s and S’s on their conduct grades throughout the school year. Barron Student Council Rocks!
