My name is Yomaida England, and I am the librarian here at Meadows Elementary.  I am very excited to serve the students of Meadows in this capacity.  I was previously on the instructional support team.  I was an instructional support specialist for 9 years and a kindergarten teacher for 15 years. Twenty-one of the years have included leadership.  This will be my 26th year in Plano ISD.  I grew up in the Plano area, and I am a product of Plano ISD.  I am grateful to serve students in the community I grew up in.  I have my Master's Degree in Early Childhood with a Specialization in Reading from the University of North Texas.  I love learning so much that I completed my post-graduate certificate in Library Science at Texas Woman's University. I am a life-long learner!  My husband Scott and I have a daughter (26) and son (17) we absolutely cherish! Our family enjoys spending time together on walks, vacations, and playing board games.
