Hello! 

My name is Meghan Reed! I am extremely excited about the 2024-2025 school year at Wyatt Elementary. I feel very blessed to be apart of the Wyatt family. I want to take this opportunity for you to learn a little about me!

I grew up in a town north of Dallas called Denton, Texas. I graduated from Texas Tech University (WRECK EM’) with my bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in 2018. I began my teaching career in Lubbock ISD. This is my sixth year at Wyatt; I previously taught first grade & fourth grade. This will be my 4th year teaching second grade.  

My mission as a teacher is to help all students feel successful and develop a love for learning. As a teacher, I want to instill in the minds of my students to be persistent, to never give up, and to work hard. I want to challenge my students every day and push them to be the best they can be!

During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, roller blading, live music, watching the Dallas Cowboys, being outdoors, relaxing, tanning, and watching movies!

I am overjoyed to begin this school year, and I look forward to getting to know all of you as we learn and grow together. It's going to be a great year in second!
