I joined Plano ISD in 2001, and for 15 years was able to work with the amazing team at Plano West and within the west cluster of feeder schools. My work as a Life Skills and Community-Based Vocational Education Teacher, a Special Education Team Leader, a Transition Specialist, and ultimately a Vocational Adjustment Coordinator, has provided me with the opportunity to serve students and families while wearing a variety of hats over the years. At Project Search, we are fortunate to be a part of some very exciting outcomes through coordination with Texas Workforce Commission, Life Path Systems, and our host businesses. I look forward to many more years of innovative special education services and leadership through our collaborrative efforts.
