Cynthia Alexander

Howdy!  I started working at the Solomon Center in 2019 as a substitute teacher and absolutely fell in love with the students and our mission.  I've been at the Solomon Center ever since as a substitute teacher, long-term substitute teacher, and now as a paraprofessional.  I have more than 10 years of educational experience and have worked in Bryan ISD, Lewisville ISD, Carrollton-Farmer's Branch ISD and Plano ISD.  I attended Texas A&M and graduated from the University of North Texas initially planning to teach English or history, but my heart belongs to special education.

I live in Plano with my husband and our neurodivergent housemate.  We have three amazing neurodivergent teenage sons.  We love dressing up and going to Renaissance festivals, attending community events, dressing up for cosplay events and are active in our church home.
