Hello! My name is Jean Mueller, and I'm starting my seventh year at Skaggs! I worked in one of our Experiential Learning Classrooms for a couple of years before becoming a special education resource teacher. This will be my fourth year as a resource teacher.
I grew up in Paris, Texas, and earned my bachelors degree in mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. I worked for 12 years as a systems engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) before staying home with my children. I discovered that children are a lot more fun than computers, and I am thrilled to be teaching now. I am a life-long learner, and I hope that my students feel my enthusiasm!
I have a sweet husband and four wonderful children--a grown daughter, a son in grad school, a daughter in college, and a daughter in high school. In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids' sports and band activities, camping, playing with my pets, and playing board games with my family.
I can't wait to see how our students impress me this year!
