My name is Jen Paez, and I am one of the Special Education Resource teachers here at Skaggs. This year, I primarily teach K-2 Special Education.

 I was born and raised in Queens, New York, and spent most of my early childhood there. In 7th grade, my parents, sister, and I moved to Plano, Texas, where I completed the remainder of my schooling.
I am a graduate of the University of North Texas where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education-Early Childhood to Grade 6 with supplemental certification in Special Education-Early Childhood to Grade 12. 

Being a product of Plano schools, nothing brings me greater joy than to serve the very community that helped shape me in my formative years. This will be my ninth year working for the district, and my second year as a Skaggs Star!
