Qualification Application Checklist
- Copy of the child's birth certificate
- Copy of the child's immunization record
- Copy of the income tax return or last 12 months of check stubs (if have neither, contact our office for alternative documents needed for income verification)
- Copy of the lease contract or mortgage agreement in the parent name(s)
- If applicable: Copies of the social security card(s) of child and parent(s), proof of Medicaid, CCMS, Food Stamps, WIC
Qualification Application Timeline
February - March
- Application(s) for the coming year are also available in the Head Start Office Monday - Friday during regular school hours.
- Come join us in person during our Head Start Round-Up during the week of February 20 – 23.
April - May
- Selection Process and Registration
- Selected families will be contacted by the school.
June - August
- Interested families may access the application online or in the Head Start office.
- Families will be contacted if they qualify.
- Interview for qualified families will be scheduled to determine if the student would be accepted or entered into the waiting list.
Waitlist
After initial enrollment is complete, a waiting list is maintained. During the school year, openings are filled with children on this list. Children may be added to the waiting list by following the above process at any time during the school year.
