Laura Cordova
I’m so excited to begin my 21st year as an educator! I bring a vast array of experience from working in Plano for 12 years, including experience as a bilingual teacher, various academic support roles, and two years as a campus administrator at an early childhood center. I am thrilled to return to Plano so that I can continue to impart knowledge and build confidence, as well as positively influence and support all students and student’s families in order to achieve success. I am excited to put my heart and soul into providing academic support for the students of Jackson Elementary and making a difference in student’s lives.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Angelo State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have been married to my college sweetheart for almost 30 years and have two adorable Bassett Hounds named Duke and Sadie. For fun, I enjoy working on word puzzles and spending time with my husband going to the movies and trying out Mexican restaurants.
