Hi, I’m Steve. In Japan, I taught English as a Foreign Language at high school and college. I learned to speak Japanese fluently, and my wife is Japanese. At Meio University, in addition to teaching and researching, I served as chair over all the teacher certification subjects taught there. Later my family and I moved to Plano for our son and daughter to finish their education in the US.  I have over 20 years experience as an educator, and I love teaching special education in elementary school! My PhD is in education, writing is my hobby, and I’m a New York Times bestselling author. I like to go horseback riding and watch movies with my family. Secretly, I’m a dark chocolate thief.
