My name is Martha Tate. I attended college in Bogota, Colombia, before transferring to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to receive my MA in Spanish Literature. 

Before coming to Jackson this year as an Instructional Specialist, I had the privilege of working with the Head Start Program since 2016. Teaching is a gift and a work from my heart and I truly believe that excellent education begins by building a positive connection with students and their families. I look forward to working with the students at Jackson to help them achieve their full potential--academically and emotionally.

My husband’s name is Brent and we have two precious daughters, Anna Jolene and Sofia. They are 11 and 7 and attend Plano ISD schools as well. I am looking forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!
