Hi,

I'm thrilled to start my first year here at Jackson Elementary School and in Texas.   I moved here in June 2024 and plan on making it  home.   My parents and sisters relocated here several years back and they really loved the Plano  area, so we all followed suit.  I will be teaching 4th grade Science and Social studies.  

I  consider Hawaii to be my hometown as I lived there from the age of ten until graduation from college.   Immediately after getting my bachelors degree, I moved to Japan to teach and spent about eleven years there.   During my time there, I studied fervently and upon my return to Hawaii, I taught  high  school CTE-Business Education and Japanese.  

The  sense of seeing the country and traveling has always been with me, so  after teaching in Hawaii for several years, I moved to the  mainland and taught in Colorado and Arizona.   I curently call Texas my home and intent to make it my permanent state of choice.   My family all live in Plano and the often have  get togethers, where we grill and talk story (as Hawaiians would say and do).
