Hello Everyone! 

I am Coach Ray and this is my 15th year teaching at Carpenter. I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and miss the mountains so much! I love watching sports, spending time with my family & friends, and hanging out with my cat, Duke. I graduated with my Bachelor's from Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders) and my Master's from TWU. I believe that every kid has talent and they just need the confidence to let it show. Winning is my passion and teaching is my calling.  I always tell my athletes “Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard.” Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks!
