Mr. William Mitchell

I am so excited to be teaching another year at Carpenter Middle School.  This is my 11th year at Carpenter and my 16th year overall in education.  I have taught all grade-levels of math, and I am currently teach 7th Grade Honors and On-Level Mathematics, as well as the Campus SEL/Behavior Specialist. I am also the 7th Grade Team Leader, a PBIS Team member, an Avid Site-Team member, the PTA liason, the No Place for Hate and Student Council Chair, a SBIC member, a Coalition to Support Grieving Students committee member, and a member of the North Texas Food Bank food pantry campus team. I am so blessed to be chosen as the 2019-2020 Carpenter Middle School Teacher of the Year. I was also awarded the 2020 Excellence in Teaching Award for Plano ISD.
