Dear parents and students, welcome to the Spanish class at Carpenter Middle School!

My name is Yamilys Domenech. I was born and raised in my beloved Puerto Rico. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Spanish Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum Design and Spanish Teaching. I received both from the same college, Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. 

In 2005, I started teaching in my island.  I taught for 9 years Middle school and High school. In 2014, I moved to Texas and, since 2015, Carpenter Middle School has been my home. I can't wait to meet my new students and to teach them about my Hispanic culture and, most important, my native language, Spanish.
