I was born in Dallas, Texas and I'm a third generation Texan on my mom's side of the family. I have 4 sons.  I graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a minor in French.  I started working in education in 2003. I've worked for Plano ISD for the past 17 years.

In my spare time, I like to listen to music, dance cumbia, and watch movies. I look forward to a fun school year!
