District Announcements

  • Bad Weather Make-Up Day: Thursday, April 6

To maintain the state-required 75,600 instructional minutes across the district, Plano ISD is using a combination of banked instructional minutes and a designated bad weather make-up day, in conjunction with an approved waiver from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), for school days missed during the inclement weather closure from January 31 through February 3. Originally scheduled as a student/teacher holiday, the first inclement weather make-up day, Thursday, April 6, 2023, will now be an instructional day. (view updated calendar
