Mrs. Lysa McLaren

Hello!  I am Lysa McLaren, and I am so excited to be continuing my career in 3rd grade at Aldridge Elementary!  I love 3rd grade and I love Aldridge.  I have been teaching at Aldridge for 20 years.  Wow!  I have made so many memories and crossed paths with outstanding students, supportive parents and wonderful staff members. 

I am a graduate of UT Tyler.  My first teaching experience was teaching 5th grade for three years in Edgewood, TX.  Then I taught 4th grade for five years in my hometown of Hawkins, Texas.  In the year of 2000, my family and I moved to Richardson, TX, and I became an Ocelot!! 

My husband and I currently live in Rockwall, TX.  We have three children and two grandchildren.  We cherish the time we get to spend together.  

School and family keep me busy, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
