My name is Sarah Tanco. I am the Instructional Specialist here at Aldridge. I am also the 504 Coordinator and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Facilitator for our campus. I have been at Aldridge for the last ten years in various positions. I was a second and third grade teacher before moving to my academic support role. Aldridge has been my second home over the last decade and being able to support all students, teachers, parents, and community members as we help our Ocelots become better citizens brings me so much joy!
I was born and raised in Dallas. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2015. In May 2024, I will graduate with my Master's of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington. When I am not at school, I love to travel, take my dog on long walks, explore the great outdoors, be with family and friends, coach swim, read, and partake in all things adventurous.
