Degrees and Certifications:
My formal education is from Purdue University with a B.S. in Child Development and Family studies. My husband and I grew up in the same area (South Bend, Indiana) and we met during our freshman year of college at Purdue University. Finding a new job brought us to the North Texas area where we have been for the last 22 years.
I have 8 siblings who all live out of state (Georgia, Florida, Indiana, and Wisconsin) and I have 3 children. My oldest child is a girl who has graduated from Texas A & M, and recently graduated from OSU Vet School. We now have a doctor in the family. My middle son is a senior at UNT, loves playing basketball, golf and traveling. He will graduate in December. My youngest son is a senior at ASU (Arizona State) and is majoring in Bio-Chem and is looking to graduate next December.
A few of my hobbies include gardening, craft projects and taking nature walks/ hikes. I have travelled to a couple of different national parks (Glacier National, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Giant Sequoia, Yosemite and Appalachian mountains) where I was able to walk a portion of the Appalachian trail, look at a buffalo head on, from inside my car and feel the wonderment of melting water from a glacier. The world is a beautiful place.... let's go explore.
