Behavior Coordinator - Title IX Coordinator

Barron Bigcats!!!! I am so excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Barron Elementary!! I am an East Texas native where I have spent the past 8 years as an administrator (4 years as Assistant Principal in Rusk & 4 years as Principal in Rusk). I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade writing, and 6th grade ELAR. I am beyond excited to bring my passion for educating and supporting young learners to the big city of Plano!! 

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6, my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and my Superintendent Certification all from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas….Axe ‘Em Jacks!! 

I immediately felt at home when walking through the doors of Barron Elementary!! The staff, students, and parents are dedicated to providing opportunities for each individual student. The hard work I have seen at Barron paves the way for our students to grow and become independent learners! The passion for students here at Barron is the same passion I have as your new Principal! I am excited to embark on this journey with our Barron community!! 

Coming with me to Plano are my two daughters Tatum (15 years old), Taylor (10 years old), and my son TJ (6 years old). They are loving the city life!I

I can’t wait to get to know each of my Barron Bigcats families! My door is always open! 2023-2024 will be a great year!
