    Assistant Principal

Behavior Coordinator - Title IX Coordinator

I am beyond excited to join the Barron community as the Assistant Principal this year!

My journey in Plano ISD began at Christie Elementary where I was a 4th grade teacher, team leader, and eventually an Instructional Coach. I loved the coaching aspect so much that I then ventured to our curriculum department where I served for 4 years as an instructional specialist in Elementary Academic Services. I missed the school setting, so I went back to campus and served as the assistant principal at Beaty Early Childhood School, where I had a front row seat to the development of Plano's youngest learners.

When I’m not AP-ing, I like to camp, hike, and do just about anything outdoorsy. I love Kansas City Chiefs football and cannot be convinced there is a better place to see a live sporting event than at their stadium; yes, that’s a challenge. I have 3 kids of my own that keep me laughing, crying and on my toes. They are Marley, 12 years old, Mateus, 7 years old, and Merritt 5 years old.

As a leader, it is my mission to do my part to make sure everyone in our school community feels valued and important. I look forward to getting to know and learn alongside the entire Barron family.

    My door is always open!
