Hello!

My name is Elizabeth Laser-Karesh (the students call me Mrs. Karesh), and I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning in fourth grade this year!  My philosophy is to have fun learning, but to teach in a way that the students retain what they learn.  I am all about using songs, jingles, and mnemonic devices in the classroom! Hightower is my home away from home, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work here with the fantastic Hightower students.

Outside of school my hobbies are hiking, reading, gardening - any outdoor activity I'm able to do here with my Texas family and friends.  My extended family is back in New York, and I do travel to see them whenever I can.
