Hello! My name is Veronica Felts and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Hightower Elementary. I am so excited to be part of this amazing team and community culture at Hightower! I absolutely love working with children and truly believe they are the future. 

I have been working with children in an educational capacity for the past 5 years and I value building quality relationships with students and parents. I have a bachelor's degree and Master of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have been married to my amazing husband Aaron for 16 years and we have two beautiful daughters, Caitlyn (12) and Olivia (8.) We are animal lovers and have 6 rescues, Scout (dog), Shadow (dog), Rocky (cat), Maya (cat), Autumn (cat), and Ringo (cat.) When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family, volunteering with Girl Scouts, crafting and enjoying the outdoors.
