My name is Dr. Kalvin G. Burkley. I am excited to be here at Hightower Elementary as the assistant principal. This is my 23rd year in education. My work experience includes being a classroom teacher, an intervention specialist, and an at-risk support instructor. This will be my seventh year as a campus administrator.

I believe in the power of education and learning. My desire as an educational leader is for every student to develop academically and personally. Building meaningful relationships with students, parents, school faculty, and community stakeholders is important to the success of Hightower Elementary. We are stronger together.

When I am not at work, I spend time with my beautiful wife, Elouise, and our children, Kristian and Khloe. They are truly my world.
