Hello! My name is Veronica Felts and I am a 1st grade teacher at Hightower Elementary. I am so blessed to be part of this amazing team and community culture at Hightower! I absolutely love working with children and empowering them to become the best version of themselves both academically and socially. I value building quality relationships with students and parents.

I have a bachelor's degree and Master of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have been married to my amazing husband Aaron for 17 years and we have two beautiful daughters, Caitlyn (13) and Olivia (9.) We are animal lovers and have 6 rescues, Scout (dog), Shadow (dog), Rocky (cat), Maya (cat), Autumn (cat), and Ringo (cat.) When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family, volunteering with Girl Scouts, crafting and enjoying the outdoors.
