Elementary K-6 ESL K-12 & GT certified Google Certified Educator Level 1

Miss Jessica Greene

I was born in Washington, Pennsylvania which is about 40 minutes south of Pittsburgh with my mom, dad, and older brother. I went to elementary school in Washington, PA where I knew from the start that I wanted to be a teacher. I used to play school with my grandma and stuffed animals on the weekends.

I went to California University of Pennsylvania where I pursued my degree in Elementary Education K-6. After graduating, I went on to get my ESL K-12 certificate. I taught 1st and 2nd grade in PA for three years in my hometown elementary school. Then, I moved to Morgantown, WV where I taught 4th grade from 2014-2020 at Eastwood Elementary.  We were a certified Green School and I did a lot of outdoor education that focused on environmental education and sustainability. While at Eastwood, I received my Math Specialist K-6 certification because I absolutely love Math. In October 2020, I moved back to my hometown and taught 5th grade grammar, writing, and science. In June 2021, I made the move to Texas! I moved to Mansfield, TX and taught 4th grade Math and Science in Arlington ISD last year. This past spring, I decided to move to the Allen/Plano area due to really liking the area when I was exploring Texas. I now live in Allen with my dog, Benny.  I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Beverly!

When I am not at school, you'll find me walking the nature trails with my dog, Benny. He's 7 and an English Setter. If I'm not walking Benny, I love cooking, traveling, trying new restaurants/cafes, going to or watching sporting events, and doing anything outdoors. Here's to an amazing year in 4th grade!
