Kindergarten Team Leader

My name is Leslie Roten, and I am a proud Beverly Bobcat.   I grew up in Plano, and I am a product of the amazing Plano Independent School system.   After graduating from Plano Sr. High School, I went on to the University of North Texas, where I received a degree in elementary education.  I married my high school sweet heart, Rodney, and we have 2 amazing daughters.  My oldest daughter, Samantha, is also a teacher in Plano ISD.  My youngest daughter, Avery, is attending AMDA College and Conservatory in NYC, where she is pursuing a BFA in Dance.  We also have 2 dogs, Bella and Maizie.  When I am not at Beverly with sweet kindergartners, you will find me crafting, playing with my dogs, or watching movies with the family.  I can think of no better job than to inspire, encourage, and educate young minds each and every day.  I strive to create a warm, inviting, and risk-free atmosphere for my students to learn and grow beyond their potential.  I can't wait to begin another wonderful year here at Beverly.  Go BOBCATS!!!
