Hi!  My name is Jennifer Hersh.  I have been teaching at Beverly since 2002 and teaching 4^th grade since 2017.  I absolutely love Beverly and 4th Grade!  I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and earned my B.A. from Michigan State University.  I came to Texas after living in Kansas and Connecticut for 5 years.  I have been married to my husband, Mark, since 1989, and we have two boys, David and Sam. David graduated from Texas A&M in 2014 and served in the army until November 2018.  He achieved the rank of Captain before he separated from the army.  Currently, he is a project manager for the Department of Defense.  He lives in San Antonio with his wife, Christina, and their daughters, Olivia and Eleanor.  Our second son, Sam, graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana with a Master's degree in English.  He lives and works in Austin.

I have been very fortunate to have been at Beverly for my entire teaching career with PISD.  I could not imagine teaching anywhere else, and I look forward to another great year!  During my downtime, I love to cook and bake, read, and spend time with my husband and my family.
