I was born in Atlanta, GA on the famous Peachtree Street. I grew up in Lilburn, GA and went to Brookwood High School. I graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens, Go Dawgs! I received a Bachelors of Science in Education with a focus in Mathematics and Physical Education for grades K-8. I have been teaching at Rice Middle School since 2002. I am happily married to a Texas A&M Aggie Engineer and we raised two children, a boy and a girl, who live in Texas. I enjoy playing and watching sports (especially softball) as well as traveling, cooking, reading, completing Sudoku books. I love hanging out with friends and family, and enjoying a Cherry Coke Zero.
