This is my 25th year as a bilingual educator.  I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd. It is now my 3rd year as a librarian. I truly enjoy seeing the amazing things that children can accomplish. It has been so rewarding. My love of reading began in elementary school. We did not have a physical library, but the Bookmobile would come once a week and boy did I enjoy getting on the bus to search for books. Some stories take me back to my childhood, others I can just relate to by what the author is writing about, and some are just for plain pleasure and tranquility.  My goal as a librarian is to instill the same passion I have for books in all students here at Weatherford.

The little things in life that give me joy daily are my 2 amazing children, Edward and Candace and my 2 beautiful grandbabies, Antonio and Andrea. I also enjoy decorating and organizing.
