McCall Colts,
I am very excited to be a Colt!! I received a Bachelors Degree in English from Athens State University in Alabama in 2009. After moving to Texas and waiting for the records to transfer, I became a long-term substitute in a Special Education classroom. I had found my calling! After teaching in the Special Education setting for 10 years, I received a Masters Degree in Special Education from Lamar University. I was a Diagnostician for 2 years, and have now returned to the classroom. I am excited to be back in the classroom helping each child reach his/her full potential, as I believe every child has the potential to learn and make a positive impact in the world.
I am a wife, a mother of two grown children who are both married, and a grandmother. I spend as much of my spare time with them as I can. I also love being with my church family.
