My name is Leslie Kresky, and I’m excited to be the Elevate teacher this year! Although I’m originally from California, I grew up in Austin. I graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with degrees in Child Learning and Development and Psychology. This will be my 11th year in education, with 6 years spent in a self-contained special education classroom and my 4th year in Plano ISD. Previously, I served as a Strive teacher (non-verbal behavior classroom) and as the special education team leader.

I’m married and have two daughters: Mackenzie, who is in first grade here at McCall, and Robyn, who is 3. Our family includes two beloved dogs: Lucy, an Irish Setter and Tinkerbell, an English Springer Spaniel. We are passionate about soccer—both of my daughters play, and I played in college. We enjoy attending and watching games, especially supporting the San Diego Wave soccer team!

Fun fact about me: I have a second job at Petsmart where I have worked for 18 year!
