Hello second grade families! 

College(s): The University of Texas at Austin (Hook Em’ Horns) Bachelor's of Science in Applied Learning and Development EC-6, with ESL certification

Teaching Experience: I am entering my 12th year of teaching, and 11th year in PISD. I am honored to have this opportunity of moving up with so many students that I had a chance to get to know last year in first grade! I am excited to grow more with your student, and family this year!

About Me: Allow me to reintroduce myself to some, and present myself to others, my name is Yasmin Nankeu (formally Ms. McKnight). Here are a few quick facts about myself. I was born and raised in the North Dallas area. I am a lover of all things Dallas sports, and will never turn down french fries! Second grade is going to be a blast, as we build upon your student’s first grade knowledge! I’m looking forward to partnering with you, celebrating student success, and making it a wonderful year!

Snack Time 9:15- 9:45

Recess 10:35- 11:05

Lunch 11:05- 11:35

AMPed 12:00- 12:50

Please remember to send your student to school with their backpack, water bottle, and snack each day.
