PSAT Save the Date - Wednesday, October 2nd

    Dear Williams Parent/Guardian,

Plano ISD will administer the PSAT on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Students in 9th grade will take the PSAT 8/9 assessment and students in 10th grade will take the PSAT/NMSQT assessment.  The PSAT helps students identify academic areas of strength and growth, as well as prepare for college entrance exams like the SAT. The PSAT/NMSQT test is also the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program for students in 11th grade and the National Recognition Program for both 10th and 11th-grade students.

All 9th and 10th-grade students enrolled at Williams High School are automatically registered for the exam at no cost.

Please avoid scheduling appointments for your students on this day as there is no make-up day for this test.

This PSAT/NMSQT is administered in an online digital format, providing an easier testing experience for students. Students will use their district-provided Chromebooks to ensure device compatibility with College Board online testing requirements.

NOTE: Accommodations in a student’s IEP or Section 504 plan do not automatically apply to College Board exams like the PSAT. Parents/guardians may contact their student's counselor to submit all required documents by August 12, 2024, if a student needs to add or change accommodations with the College Board’s Services for Students with Disabilities. Additional information on requests for accommodation can be found on the College Board Accommodations webpage

Students can access PSAT/NMSQT Practice on Bluebook to prepare.

    Thank you,

High School Grades 9&10 - SPANISH

    Estimado Williams, padre o tutor!

    Gracias,
